And although the place is busy the tables are separated enough that you can have a conversation with your table. Started with the escargot (wanted to save room for the rest of the meal). They were delicious, buttery and garlicky, just right. I had the ribeye, sliced, and my friend had the lamb chops. Both were the best I've had in Philly. For sides the hash browns and creamed spinach. Both winners. Oh, and the biscuits to start were awesome, probably even better than popeyes lol. They were super moist and I think layered a bit like a croissant. So many places serve dry biscuits and these were delicious. Baked Alaska for dessert. Very nice presentation. I liked it, but I'm just not really a Baked Alaska kind of guy. But if it's your thing you won't be disappointed. If you're craving a great steakhouse this is your place! ”

“ TLDR: Yes you should absolutely eat here. I'm honestly a little mad that I came here because it's created a standard that no other steakhouse will be able to live up to. I've been to a lot of upscale steak houses and this place makes them all look like Applebee's in comparison. I'll never be able to walk into another steakhouse again without comparing it to this restaurant. It's my new gold standard. Service was great and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the Stuffed Hash Brown and their Creme Brulee. ”
“ First time here and I wanted to take my mom some place nice. I was surprised by the large amount of people in attendance. I recommend having a reservation unless you’re going just for drinks. The service/staff was amazing (shoutouts to Leah and Derek). The food is amazing. Had escargot for the first time, it was good but I wish it wasn’t swimming in butter (or the sauce they used). It sort of took away the taste of the meat. The biscuits... OMG! Glad they only gave two otherwise you can full off those alone. The sea bass and salmon I highly recommend. The blackberry cosmo, my mom greatly enjoyed and she’s not a drinker. I will totally come back here again the next time I’m in town. ”
“ Amazing steakhouse, started with the onion soup which was very good. Then the shrimp Louie salad was delicious! Highly recommend that and best to share, it’s a perfect amount. We also shared the escargot which was insanely good too. The stuffed hash browns and the creamed spinach were perfect! The main course, we share the steak, was cooked absolutely perfectly and they sliced it for us. I highly recommend this best steakhouse in the city. Oh, I forgot of course my dirty martini was also amazing ”
“ Butcher and Singer is a must-visit place in Philadelphia. The atmosphere is second to none, with the massive 25-foot ceilings and hand-painted walls. If you have never tried Wagyu, this would be a great place to start; although, in my personal preference, the Delmonico steak was better the night I went. The char was out of this world. I enjoyed all the sides we had, and dessert was a great way to end. ”
